I have tried a few from the store. but it is nice when you get hits on your own.
and hear is how it is made. rotten chicken harts with the blood, vanilla extract about a spoon, kerro syrup about 1\4 cup, 1 can nacho cheese sauce, corn meal about a cup, red food color about 3 spoons, and flour to fine tune thickness to liking, clams in a can for fish sent, the option is sardins in oil one can.
and this is my take on stink bait, cheap and easy but make it out on the porch. some stink takes a while to go away.

This is my homemade dough-punch bait recipe... great for channel cats!!!
Crumble 3 slices of dark toast in a bowl
1 can tuna,,,or cat food w fish flavor
    Can of sardines
    2tblsppons of peanut butter
    2tblspoons of clam juice
    1 garlic minced
    2 tblspoons honey
About 1/3 cup flour depends how thick u like it. Also u can substitute the tuna for chicken livers for a blood bait, or u can just add the livers with the tuna, it all works good.
